AI Readiness Audit

A regional Malaysian bank

The challenge

A retail bank with ambitions in personalised customer experience had stalled on three previous AI pilots. Each had reached technical proof-of-concept but none had reached customers.

Our approach

A six-week readiness audit across data engineering, infrastructure, model governance, and the operating model of the digital team. We worked alongside their CIO office and produced a board-ready remediation plan.

What changed

Three remediation workstreams sequenced over twelve months. The first — model risk management — closed within ninety days, unblocking the first customer-facing deployment by quarter end.

The audit gave us the unflattering picture we needed. It would have saved us a year if we had run it before our first pilot.

Chief Information Officer

Implementation & Delivery

A Klang Valley electronics manufacturer

The challenge

An exporter of consumer electronics was losing two days of production each quarter to unplanned downtime on its primary assembly line. The data existed; the team had not been able to convert it into action.

Our approach

A sixteen-week engagement to design, build, and deploy a predictive maintenance system on the Teragrid Ai Platform. Co-delivered with the client engineering team to leave them able to extend the system to other lines.

What changed

Unplanned downtime on the primary line reduced over the first ninety days of operation. The client team has since extended the same approach to two further lines without our involvement.

AI Strategy

A private healthcare network in the Klang Valley

The challenge

A multi-hospital network wanted to reduce clinical documentation burden on physicians, with care taken to keep the medical leadership comfortable with how AI would interact with patient records.

Our approach

A ten-week strategy engagement covering clinical workflow mapping, a vendor and build-vs-buy assessment, regulatory framing under MoH guidance, and an implementation pilot scope.

What changed

A two-phase rollout plan, board-approved, with a six-month pilot at one site. Implementation is in flight under a separate engagement.

They engaged with the clinical leadership on its own terms. We did not feel managed.

Medical Director

AI Strategy

A federal-level Malaysian agency

The challenge

A frontline citizen-services agency was under pressure to deploy AI capabilities visibly, while protecting against the reputational risk of public-facing missteps.

Our approach

A focused strategy engagement to identify three lower-risk, high-volume processes suitable for AI augmentation, with a governance framework appropriate for the agency context.

What changed

Two pilots commenced within the same fiscal year. Both remain in production under the agency’s direct stewardship.
